In winter of 2023, one dear friend of mine had left a mysterious link in his Discord bio. It was to a place I had never heard of called 'Neocities.' Out of curiosity, I clicked on it and was whisked away to what I would later know as Leviathren's personal site! (ABYSSAL)
It was dark and punk and such a revelationary force in my newfound understanding of what the internet could be. In the days that ensued, Leviathren and I chatted Web Revival
and what it meant to have a personal site in the ever-looming presence of Web 3.0. I decided that making a personal site would be the best new hobby for my hyperfixation-prone brain. I spent the entire winter cooking up a site I referred to as "Ghostlight."
