This site was a pixel-graphic-style exploration of an abandoned/haunted/ liminal theater. I really wanted it to feel like a point-and-click adventure with details like a Playbill "about me" page and a prop closet where I stored adopted graphics. It was really fun to work on and honestly a little out of my depth in terms of understanding what I was making.

Every time I sat down to code was a new adventure on W3Schools or poking through sites I admired for their own code (thanks Loren). It was such a fun project, but eventually I became kind of burnt out on it. I was running out of steam for making things work in-world of the theater, and didn't feel like it expressed the full breadth of who I am and who I want to be in cyberspace.

So, Saturniids was born. It is named after my typical username and built in a artpunk-DIY-risograph-papercraft-zine style. I love making and using pngs to have little objects, as if scattered across a desk or craft space.
